Mock Up Front Cover and Content Page

With my front cover I think the colour scheme works well because the colours stand out and are easy to read. Also the colours I have used at the main colours used by colleges in hampshire so students can relate to the magazine and identify it easily. I feel I have kept to my flat plan well and I have used my proposal to help me design the front cover better. I have used a funky type of font so that students don't think the magazine is too formal and it makes them feel at ease to relate to it. 

With my contents page I have used the same colours as my front cover so that there is a reoccurring theme throughout. I have used more images on the front cover so that students know what to expect in the magazine. I have kept my text in one area of the page so that students don't have to go searching around for the page they want. I have included pop out images that will attract the students eye to the competition included in the magazine and I have also included an image of clothing to introduce one of the pages involved in the magazine. All the pictures i have used at related to the small headlines on the front page.
